Laurin & Klement 1912

Laurin & Klement 1912

Due to a conversion into a fire engine, nothing remained of the original body with which the car

was delivered in 1912. Only a three-quarter view from the Skoda Museum archive could be used as a starting point. Contemporary plans from our archive served as a reference for the execution of the construction.

The wooden single layer panels of an original body were done using two layers glued together, reducing working time and material loss. The completely preserved but heavily damaged interior is being restored as elaborately as the entire technology.
