The rotor blades of this helicopter, which was the first British helicopter to receive certification in 1949, consist of a wooden structure that showed damage to the planking. To repair it, appropriate fixtures had to be manufactured in accordance with the repair manual. Finally, the necessary approval was granted by Austro Control.
