The ailerons of this US Marine fighter plane from World War II are made of wood.

Due to the age and condition of the existing part, it was necessary to replace it with a completely new one. The replacement was carried out according to the original plans and included the complete construction, including all fittings.

Finally, the necessary approval was granted by Austro Control.
