Very few C 7s still exist and so the aim was to restore this largely original vehicle while preserving as much of

its historic substance as possible. Our task included all the work on the body, interior and assembly.

Schmidt Racing overhauled the mechanics and the complex sleeve valve engine. The weaving of

fabric to the original upholstery pattern and the producing of nitro paint to the original color, following an

old recipe, was also part of the job, as well as repairing the original rubberized roof covering and rebuilding

the sometimes bizarre missing details, such as the window swivel mechanism and door locks.
