Actually, a pre-war design developed under the direction of Ferdinand Porsche, this type of vehicle continued to be produced after WW1. The body with plank of frame construction was built by the company OEFFAG in Wiener Neustadt. It had suffered greatly over the years due to alterations and rot. Whilst preserving the body shape as much as possible, the entire wood frame was taken apart, all wooden joints were renovated and re-glued, with the wooden planking renewed where necessary. The paintwork was also repainted with a nitro paint finish.
